Floodable gual in the Ripoll river
The road connection is formalized from a concrete path of 4 meters of transitable width for pedestrians and bicycles. It has a curve shape so that from the paths that crown the river slopes you can go down to the riverbed and cross it to reach the opposite margin. At the same time, the traditional irrigation system that comes from the Can Clos lock to downstream from the project scope is preserved to temporarily guarantee the agricultural use made of it in the Ripoll riverbed. The project configures a topography that facilitates the retention of water in the strategic points where plantations have been made that use the surplus water of the irrigation channel The proposal always works with native species and adapted to the riverside environment to promote the recovery of the river ecosystem.ll
